a. Is there a clear episode title which relates to overall question?
Yes
b. Are there 3 clear subtitles which relate to the overall title?
No, as two of the subtitles (evolution of video games graphics and evolution of interactive video game consoles) are quite similar
c. What is the quality of detail for each subtopic?
There needs to be more in depth detail for each subtopic by having clear bullet points that explain the content of the episode and focusing on the conventions that I would apply and how it would help to inform the target audience about the topic
d. Will your audience enjoy this episode, and each subtopic? Will it be interesting for the whole 60 mins?
My episode has the potential to be enjoyable if I move away from cliche information
e. Is the content fresh, engaging, original……will the audience actually LEARN and THINK about this topic?
Some of my content is original however, majority of it includes information that my audience may already know. Once I include more engaging and original content my episode will not only educate my target audience but allow them to think about the topic and develop opinions based on what they watched.
f. Have pro’s/con’s or advantages/disadvantages been considered?
Yes, there is a debate and an exploration of both sides to the episode title
g. Is there a range of conventions applied to make it a ‘documentary’ or are they quite basic/straight forward conventions?
There is a range of conventions applied but I need to include statistics and more expert interviews to support my subtopics
h. How inventive and original are the applications for conventions?
The application of the conventions in my episode is quite original as I have developed conventions to make my episode more engaging but I need to explore more conventions that can be applied
i. Overall what level is the planning for episode?
2B
